It is with great pride that we announce that after the collaboration of the past years with LORO PARQUE FUNDACIÓN we were appointed as official representatives in Portugal for the sale and collaboration distribution of their birds. First of all, we want to publicly thank those who supported us from the first moment, Rafael Zamora Padrón and lately Marcia Weinzetll , Lubos Tomiska and the remaining competent staff LPF with whom we have worked in recent years.

LORO PARQUE FOUNDATION

The Loro Parque Foundation was created in 1994 with the mission of preserving the most threatened habitats on the planet – it developed 4 lines of action: conservation, research, education, and animal husbandry.

Its work has been recognized by organizations, institutions and companies worldwide, with a budget of more than $ 1 million for environmental projects.

It currently runs conservation programs in 28 different countries and its collection of parrots is the largest and most diverse in the world, helping to protect the species that are most at risk.

When you buy a bird from Loro Parque, you are helping to protect various species of parrots in many parts of the world.

Centro de Cria LPF (La Vera)
and Baby Station

The creation center of La Vera is one of the most valuable places in Loro Parque Fundación. It is a unique piece, which occupies 30,000 square meters of an old banana plantation, a true paradise of abundant vegetation with everything necessary for animals to feel comfortable and to their taste.

In La Vera, just a few kilometers away from Loro Parque, you will find most of the 4,000 specimens of parrots that the reserve has. 350 species and subspecies, many of them, in serious danger of extinction.

Veterinarians and keepers do a very special monitoring of each of the birds. For LPF it is important that they are in the best environment. That is why they have about 1,200 large aviaries surrounded by plants and covered with nets that filter the light and guarantee an optimal and healthy environment for the birds.
